Guyana is a country in northeastern South America, bordering the Atlantic Ocean. The capital is Georgetown, the official language is English, and the local currency is the Guyanese dollar (GYD). The country is known for its vast rainforests, waterfalls, rivers, savannas, and rich biodiversity. Over 80% of the territory is covered in natural forests.<\/span><\/p>

2. Security and warnings<\/b><\/h2>
