The most popular places are Hurghada, Sharm el-Sheikh, Marsa Alam, Cairo, Luxor and Alexandria.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The country is suitable for both a classic seaside vacation and excursions to the pyramids, temples, and the Valley of the Kings.<\/span><\/p><h3><b>1. Where is Egypt located?<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Egypt is located in northeastern Africa, with part of its territory \u2013 the Sinai Peninsula \u2013 in Asia. The country has access to the Mediterranean and Red Seas and is connected to both seas via the Suez Canal.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The capital is <\/span><b>Cairo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and the official name of the country is the Arab Republic of Egypt.<\/span><\/p><h3><b>2. Is a visa needed for Bulgarians?<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For Bulgarian citizens with <\/span><b>regular passport an Egyptian entry visa is required<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that the visa must be obtained in advance upon entering the country.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bulgarian citizens can apply for an Egyptian tourist visa through the Egyptian embassy or through the official electronic e-Visa system.
