El Salvador \u2013 practical information for tourists<\/b><\/h3>

El Salvador is a small but extremely diverse country in Central America, known for its volcanoes, Pacific beaches, surf culture, colonial towns, archaeological sites, and natural parks. The country is suitable for both short city and cultural trips, as well as for a combined vacation with beach, surf, mountains, and nature trails.<\/span><\/p>

For Bulgarian tourists, travel is relatively easy from a visa perspective \u2013 <\/span>a visa is not required for tourist stays of up to 90 days<\/b>. However, it is important to pay attention to current rules on entry, security, transportation and health preparation.<\/span><\/p>

1. Briefly about El Salvador<\/b><\/h3>

El Salvador is located on the Pacific coast of Central America, bordered by Guatemala and Honduras. The country is landlocked on the Caribbean Sea, but has a long Pacific coastline known for its good surfing conditions.<\/span><\/p>

The capital is <\/span>San Salvador<\/b>, and among the most popular tourist areas are La Libertad and Surf City, Santa Ana, Suchitoto, Ruta de las Flores, Lake Coatepeque, the Santa Ana and San Salvador volcanoes, and the Joya de Cer\u00e9n archaeological complex.<\/span><\/p>

2. Visa for Bulgarians<\/b><\/h3>

For Bulgarian citizens with an ordinary, diplomatic or service passport <\/span>no visa required<\/b> for a tourist trip to El Salvador. The Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicates a visa-free regime, and the El Salvador tourist portal includes Bulgaria among the countries whose citizens can enter without a visa for tourist or family visits of up to 90 days.<\/span><\/p>

If you stay beyond the permitted period or for another purpose of travel, the appropriate type of visa or permit may be required.<\/span><\/p>
