Additional information
- To obtain a visa, you will need: A passport or travel document with a machine-readable zone (MRZ) with a minimum validity of 6 months. (Passengers with extended passport validity are not allowed to enter.)
- Full travel itinerary including confirmed round-trip tickets, with pre-paid confirmed hotel reservation at a registered hotel and providing proof of financial means for sufficient amounts to sustain the stay in the Maldives (minimum USD 150 per day per person) or holding pre-approved visa sponsorship approved by Maldives Immigration.
- A declaration is to be completed. The Passenger Declaration must be completed and submitted by all passengers travelling to and from the Maldives within 96 hours prior to the flight time. The form must be submitted electronically through IMUGA: https://imuga.immigration.gov.mv/.

- Yellow fever vaccination certificate, if applicable. Children under 1 year of age are exempt from yellow fever vaccination. A complete travel itinerary (confirmed return tickets, pre-paid confirmed hotel reservation at a registered hotel and proof of sufficient funds to support the stay in the Maldives) does not guarantee entry into the Maldives. Entry will be granted at the port of entry after determination of admissibility by immigration officers, in accordance with sections 7 and 8 of the Maldives Immigration Act, 2007.
