Day 1 | Welcome to Amsterdam

Departure from Sofia Airport with a flight to Eindhoven on Wizz Air or Ryanair. Arrival at Eindhoven Airport. Transfer to Amsterdam.

Accommodation in the Amsterdam area in the evening. Overnight.

Day 2 | Amsterdam

Breakfast.

Today we will head to Amsterdam – the capital of the Netherlands and one of the most picturesque and colorful cities in Europe, famous for its canals, historic buildings and unique atmosphere.

During the included price tourist program (lasting about 3 hours) we will get acquainted with the most emblematic sights of the city. The walk starts from the historical center, where we will see The Old Church (Oude Kerk) – the oldest preserved building in Amsterdam, whose origins date back to the 13th century.

We continue to the famous red light district, which is an integral part of the history and culture of the city. Then we will reach Dam Square„ – the heart of Amsterdam, surrounded by impressive historic buildings, lively cafes and numerous street performers.

Here we will see the majestic Royal Palace, one of the most remarkable examples of Dutch classical architecture. Built in the 17th century as the city hall, at the time it was considered one of the architectural wonders of Europe. In the immediate vicinity is the popular Madame Tussauds Museum, where wax figures of world-famous personalities can be viewed.

The walk continues to the famous floating flower market (Bloemenmarkt) – the one-of-a-kind flower market on the canals, offering a huge variety of tulips, flower bulbs, souvenirs and typical Dutch products.

Optional – unforgettable boat trip on the canals of Amsterdam, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. During the cruise you will enjoy the beautiful facades of the historic houses, the romantic bridges and the unique atmosphere of the city, revealed from the water.

Free time follows during which you can visit Museumplein – the cultural heart of Amsterdam. Here are some of the most famous museums in the world, including Rijksmuseum with the rich collection of Dutch art, The Van Gogh Museum, owning the largest collection of works by the great artist, as well as Stedelijk Museum, dedicated to modern and contemporary art.

In the evening – group transfer to the hotel.

Day 3 | Zaanse Schans – Volendam – The Hague – Delft

Breakfast.

Free time in Amsterdam for independent exploration of the city, visiting museums, shopping or strolling along the picturesque canals. (To get around, you need to use public transportation.)

If desired, you can choose one of the following full-day excursions:

Option 1: Full-day trip to Delft and The Hague

Departure for Delft – one of the most beautiful and best-preserved historic cities in the Netherlands, known for its famous blue and white porcelain and picturesque canals. During the walking tour we will explore the ancient center with its romantic bridges, cozy squares and magnificent historical buildings.

We'll see. Market Square (Markt), the impressive City Hall, The Old Church (Oude Kerk) и The New Church (Nieuwe Kerk), where the tombs of representatives of the royal dynasty of Orange are located. We will pass by Prinsenhof – the former residence of William of Orange, now converted into a museum related to the history of the Netherlands.

Next departure for The Hague – the administrative capital of the country, seat of the Dutch government, the royal court, and numerous international institutions, including the UN International Court of Justice.

During the walking tour we will explore the complex Binnenhof – the oldest operating parliamentary complex in the world, the impressive Knight's Hall (Ridderzaal), The Little Tower (Torentje) – the Prime Minister's office, as well as the historical center with Royal Palace Noordheinde, the old town hall and one of the oldest shopping streets in the city.

Free time for a walk, coffee or shopping.

We will visit the fishing village of Camara de Lobos, the impressive Cape Cabo Girão - one of the highest sea cliffs in Europe, the mystical Fanal forest, the coastal village of Ribeira da Janela, the natural volcanic pools in Porto Moniz, as well as the beautiful villages of Seixal and São Vicente.

Return to the hotel.

Option 2: Excursion to Zaanse Schans and Volendam

Departure for Zaanse Schans – one of the most iconic open-air museums in the Netherlands, which recreates the atmosphere of a Dutch village from the 17th and 18th centuries.

Here you will walk among the characteristic green wooden houses, the working windmills and the authentic workshops, where the making of traditional wooden shoes (clogs), Dutch cheeses, ceramics and other local crafts. You will have the opportunity to visit a dairy producing the famous Dutch cheeses, a diamond shop and numerous craft workshops.

After free time we leave for Volendam – one of the most picturesque fishing villages in the Netherlands. The town impresses with its beautiful harbor, traditional wooden houses and peaceful atmosphere. Some of the locals still wear the characteristic folk costumes that have made Volendam one of the symbols of traditional Holland.

You will have free time to walk along the promenade, take photos and try fresh seafood specialties or typical Dutch desserts.

Return to Amsterdam.

Day 4 | Departure

Breakfast. Check-out from the hotel (luggage is left in a luggage room). Free time in Amsterdam (use of local and public transport is required). Transfer to Eindhoven. Departure to Bulgaria with a flight of the airline "Wizz Air" or "Ryanair". Landing at Sofia Airport.
