Angola – practical information for tourists

Angola – practical information for tourists

Angola is one of the most interesting, yet relatively under-visited tourist destinations in Africa. The country combines an Atlantic coastline, tropical landscapes, waterfalls, national parks, desert areas, and Portuguese cultural heritage.

The capital, Luanda, is the country's modern economic and political center, while beyond it, impressive natural areas can be discovered such as the Kalandula Falls, the Namib Desert, and the Iona National Park.

There is an important convenience for Bulgarian tourists: for tourist visits of up to 30 days, Bulgarian citizens with an ordinary passport do not need a visa. The visa-free regime allows up to 90 days in total within one calendar year.
