1. Is a passport required for the United Kingdom?

Yes. Bulgarian citizens must travel with a valid international passport.

For a regular tourist visit, the Bulgarian ID card does not replace a passport. Before departure, check Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria – United Kingdom.
