Day 1 | Welcome to Hamburg

Departure from Sofia Airport with a direct airline flight Wizz Air to Hamburg – one of the most impressive cities in Northern Germany. Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Located on the bank of a river Elbe and close to the North Sea, Hamburg is a city with a unique atmosphere, combining a rich history, modern architecture and maritime spirit. As one of Europe's most important port centers, the city impresses with its canals, over 2500 bridges, picturesque coastal promenades and a dynamic cultural life.

Hamburg was part of the medieval trade union Hanseatic League, which contributed to its development as an important commercial and economic center. Today, the city is known as one of the greenest in Germany, with numerous parks, gardens and recreational spaces combining nature with the urban environment.

Free time for first impressions of the city. Opportunity to walk along the coastal area of the port, visit the lively neighborhood St. Pauli or dinner in one of the many restaurants with typical German and international cuisine.

Day 2 | Hamburg and the opportunity for additional experiences

Breakfast.

A tourist program follows in Hamburg (included in the price, lasting about 2 hours and 30 minutes), during which we will discover the most interesting sights of one of the most beautiful and significant cities in Northern Germany.

Our tour begins with a panoramic walk through the city's elegant residential districts and green boulevards, which reveal the calm and aristocratic side of Hamburg. We will pass by the picturesque lakes Alster – a favorite place for walks and relaxation for both local residents and guests of the city.

We will visit Speicherstadt – the largest historic warehouse complex in the world and part of the world cultural heritage UNESCO. The area impresses with its brick buildings, bridges and canals, creating a unique atmosphere from the time when Hamburg was one of the most important trading centers in Europe.

Next is a panoramic view of the port of Hamburg – one of the largest and busiest ports in Europe, which has played a key role in the development of the city for more than centuries.

We continue with a walking tour of the historic center of Hamburg. We will explore the impressive Town Hall Square with the impressive building of Hamburg City Hall, which has 647 rooms and has become one of the symbols of the city. The route also includes the oldest stock exchange in Germany, the picturesque bridges and canals along the river Elbe, as well as one of the oldest churches in the city – „"St. Peter"“.

We will also see the iconic expressionist building Chilehaus, built between 1922 and 1924, as well as the characteristic historic warehouses and commercial buildings along the canals that tell the story of Hamburg as an important maritime and commercial center.

After the tourist program – free time for independent exploration of the city, visiting museums, shopping or enjoying the atmosphere of local cafes and restaurants. (For leisure travel, use of public transport is required.)

Optional: Half-day trip to Lübeck

Possibility of an additional excursion to Lubeck – one of the most beautiful historic cities in Germany, known in the past as „"The Queen of the Hanseatic League"“ and an important center of the medieval merchant league.

During the walking tour we will discover the charm of the old town with its traditional houses, narrow streets and preserved medieval architecture. We will see the famous Holstentor (Holstentor) – symbol of Lübeck, the main square with the impressive Town Hall from the 13th century, as well as Marienkirche church„ – the third largest church in Germany.

The route continues past the ancient guild buildings, Drägerhaus, which today houses the Museum of Art and Culture History, as well as the legendary café Niederegger, known for its famous Lübeck marzipan.

Return to Hamburg.

Day 3 | Full-day excursion – Hamburg-Bremen-Hamburg

Breakfast. Free time (use of public transport is required) or Optional full-day excursion to Bremen and Bremerhaven. 

Departure for the city of Bremen. Walking tour of the old center of the Hanseatic city, located on the banks of the Weser River - the Renaissance building of the Old Town Hall, which houses the "Golden Hall", the New Town Hall, the famous statue of the Bremen Town Musicians, the statue of Roland - the guardian of freedom and justice. The entire complex of the Town Hall and the statue of Roland were included in the UNESCO list in 2004. Free time.

Visit the city of Bremerhaven - an important port city in northern Germany, located near where the Weser River flows into the North Sea. Popular sites in the city include the Maritime Museum, the Sea Zoo, and the Atlanticum Museum. 

Return to Hamburg. Overnight.

Day 4 | Departure

Transfer to the airport for a direct flight to Sofia on Wizz Air. Landing at Sofia Airport
