Journey Group invites you on a journey to Andalusia – one of the most beautiful regions of Spain, where history, culture and the Mediterranean way of life meet.
We will stay at Marbella, on the Costa del Sol, and we will visit some of the most impressive places in southern Spain – Granada and the Alhambra, Cordoba, Ronda, Malaga, Gibraltar and the famous Caminito del Rey.
This is a program for those who want to combine the pleasant climate and atmosphere of the Costa del Sol with the rich history and diverse landscapes of Andalusia.
Day 1 | Bulgaria – Malaga – Marbella
Departure from Bulgaria to Malaga - the capital of the Costa del Sol and a natural starting point for our journey through Andalusia.
After arrival we head to Marbella. The resort is known for its beautiful beaches, elegant hotels, marinas and lively coastal atmosphere.
Check-in at the hotel and free time for relaxation.
In the evening you can walk through the old town of Marbella and feel the typical Andalusian atmosphere.

Day 2 | MARBEIA – COSTA DEL SOL
Breakfast.
A day for Marbella and the Costa del Sol.
You will have the opportunity to explore Old Town – the old town of Marbella, with whitewashed facades, flowers, small squares and narrow streets. Particularly beautiful is the Plaza de los Naranjos – the square of the orange trees, which has become one of the emblems of the city.
For lovers of a modern atmosphere, the options are in the area of Puerto Banus – the famous marina, surrounded by restaurants, boutiques and luxury yachts.
Free time for beach, walks and relaxation.

Day 3 | GRANADA AND THE ALHAMBRA – THE TRACES OF MOORISH SPAIN
Breakfast.
Today we are heading to Granada – one of the most remarkable cities in Andalusia. The history of the city is closely linked to the last Muslim kingdom on the Iberian Peninsula.
The main emphasis is Alhambra – a magnificent palace and fortress complex located on the Sabica hill. The palaces, gardens and decorative details make the Alhambra one of the most visited landmarks in Spain.
After the visit – free time in Granada. We recommend a walk through the old Albaicín district, from where you can enjoy beautiful views of the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada mountains.
Return to Marbella.

Day 4 | CORDOBA – MESQUITA AND THE OLD CITY
Breakfast.
We are traveling to Cordoba – a city where different cultures and religions have coexisted for centuries.
The historic center impresses with whitewashed houses, colorful courtyards and a maze of narrow streets. The great landmark of Cordoba is The Mesquites – a unique architectural monument connected with the rich history of the city.
We will have free time to walk in the old Jewish quarter. Jewish Quarter, visiting shops and local restaurants.
In the afternoon, departure back to Marbella.

Day 5 | RONDA – THE ANDALUSIAN CITY OF THE ROCK
Breakfast.
Today is dedicated to Ronda – one of the most impressive places to visit in Andalusia.
The city is located on a plateau separated by a deep gorge. The Tajo. Above it rises the Puente Nuevo – an impressive stone bridge and one of Ronda's most recognizable landmarks.
Walk through the old town and free time for photos, coffee and lunch with typical Andalusian specialties.
Ronda is also one of the places where the characteristic spirit of the white towns of Southern Spain is best felt.
Return to Marbella.

DAY 6 | MALAGA – THE MEDITERRANEAN CAPITAL OF THE COSTA DEL SOL
Breakfast.
We are heading to Malaga – a city with more than two millennia of history and one of the most popular vacation spots in southern Spain.
During your free time, you can stroll along Calle Larios, visit the old town, the cathedral or the Alcazaba fortress.
Malaga is also the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, and the city offers numerous museums, galleries, restaurants and cafes.
You will have time to enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere and local cuisine.
Return to Marbella.

Day 7 | GIBRALTAR – ON THE BORDER BETWEEN EUROPE AND AFRICA
Breakfast.
Today the program takes us to Gibraltar – a small British territory in the southern part of the Iberian Peninsula.
Gibraltar impresses with its iconic rock, its strategic location, and its interesting blend of British and Mediterranean influences.
Free time to walk along Main Street, shop and explore the central area.
After the visit, we return to Marbella.

Day 8 | CAMINITO DEL REY – MALAGA – BULGARIA
Breakfast and check-out from the hotel.
The last day of our trip is dedicated to one of the most interesting natural experiences in Andalusia – Caminito del Rey.
The famous trail passes through the impressive canyons of the province of Malaga and offers incredible views of the cliffs, the valley and the surrounding landscape.
After the visit, we head to Malaga airport for the return flight to Bulgaria.
