Catalonia Bavaro Beach и Catalonia Royal Bavaro are next to each other and are located in the area before Bavaro – Cabeza de Toro. There the beach is relatively wide, the approach to the water is slightly steep. Since they are in a more open place, you can feel the gentle breeze. In Catalonia Bavaro, the renovated rooms are only Privileged Deluxe Junior Suite and Privileged Romance Deluxe Junior Suite, while in Catalonia Royal it is only Privileged Romance Deluxe Junior Suite and some villas with a private pool. Catalonia Royal is an adults-only hotel. In both hotels, the service and food are at a good level.

Dreams Flora is part of the Hyatt chain. It is also located in the Cabeza de Toro area, where the beach is not very wide. The complex is not large. In 2023 it was completely renovated, which increased the comfort of guests and the quality of service.

Lopesan is located on Bavaro Beach. A new hotel, opened at the end of 2019 and closed during the pandemic. High class service, large territory with 7 fresh water pools, nice and spacious rooms. The beach is huge, with white, fine sand.

Melia Caribe Beach и Melia Punta Cana are next to each other and form a huge complex with many pools, restaurants, gardens and shops. Melia Caribe is a family-type hotel, with large spacious rooms, 4 pools and 9 restaurants. Melia Punta Cana is for adults only. It has been completely renovated, also with 4 pools and 8 restaurants. The food is good, fresh and varied. The service is at a high level. These two hotels have perhaps one of the widest and most beautiful beaches in Bavaro Bay.

Dreams Royal Beach, again part of the Hyatt chain. The resort is luxurious, high-end, with 5 pools, 7 restaurants, large and spacious rooms in a Caribbean style. Everything was renovated during the pandemic. Offers a cinema on the beach.

Caribe Deluxe и Grand Bavaro from the chain Princess (a few hundred meters from each other). Caribe is a more family-friendly hotel, Grand Bavaro is considered the higher class. Both hotels have large areas, with an excellent garden, in which iguanas, ducks, geese, peacocks, flamingos and turtles walk among you. The food is delicious and varied in both resorts. They have many restaurants to choose from for dinner – 11 in Grand Bavaro and 7 in Caribe.

Riu Palace Punta Cana is a classic for the chain. The complex itself is smaller than the others. Nice beach, very good service, fresh and varied food. Last renovated in 2018. It is famous as one of the party hotels in the Dominican Republic.
