1. Walking tour of classical Rome with a guide in Bulgarian
A full-day program dedicated to the history, architecture and most famous landmarks of The Eternal City.
The walk begins with The Colosseum – one of the most impressive symbols of Ancient Rome. With the help of a licensed tour guide, you will learn more about the history of the amphitheater, gladiatorial battles, and public life in the Roman Empire.
We continue to The Roman Forum – the ancient political, religious and social center of the city. Among the preserved ruins we will see remains of temples, basilicas and triumphal arches.
Next Palatine Hill, associated with the legend of the founding of Rome. From the hill, beautiful views of the archaeological complexes and the central part of the city open up.
The route continues to Venice Square and the monumental complex Vittoriano, after which we will head to the famous Trevi Fountain – one of the most visited places in Rome. According to tradition, throwing a coin into the fountain guarantees a return to the Eternal City.
We will also visit The Pantheon – an impressive ancient monument, famous for its monumental architecture and unique dome.
The end of the walk is at Piazza Navona – one of the most beautiful squares in Rome, surrounded by Baroque architecture, fountains, cafes and restaurants.
Free time for coffee, Italian gelato or shopping.
2. Vatican and Baroque Rome with a guide in Bulgarian
A full-day program that combines art, history and the architectural treasures of The Vatican and Baroque Rome.
It starts with a visit to Vatican – the smallest country in the world and the spiritual center of the Catholic world. In The Vatican Museums We will explore some of the richest art collections in the world.
The program focuses on The Sistine Chapel, famous for Michelangelo's monumental frescoes.
Next is a visit to St. Peter's Basilica„ – one of the most impressive temples in the world, housing valuable works of art and architectural masterpieces. If desired, there will be an opportunity to climb to the dome and enjoy the panoramic view of Rome.
In the afternoon we will immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the baroque center. The route passes through Spain Square and the famous Spanish Steps, and then along the elegant Via dei Condotti, known for its boutiques and Italian style.
We will also visit Piazza del Popolo – one of the emblematic squares of Rome, decorated with impressive architecture and fountains.
The program ends with free time and the opportunity for an aperitif in a typical Italian establishment.
3. The secrets of Rome and the Trastevere district with a guide in Bulgarian
An alternative walking program that reveals the more peaceful, romantic and authentic side of Rome.
The walk starts from Capitol Hill, whose architectural ensemble was designed by Michelangelo. From here you can enjoy an impressive view of the Roman Forum.
We continue to The Mouth of Truth – the famous ancient marble relief, around which numerous legends have been created over the centuries.
Then we will go through Tiberina Island and we will head to one of the most characteristic neighborhoods of Rome – Trastevere. The narrow cobblestone streets, small squares, colorful facades and traditional restaurants create a unique atmosphere.
We will visit Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere„ – one of the oldest Christian temples in Rome, famous for its beautiful mosaics.
The walk continues to Janiculum, from where one of the most picturesque panoramas of the rooftops and landmarks of the Eternal City opens.
